Our Code of Conduct

What we stand for

We started Killer Sprocket with the intention of creating a welcoming space that is safe and friendly for everyone. We believe people thrive when they are in an environment where it is ok to be genuine and vulnerable, to ask questions, share their voice, make mistakes, and try new things. To protect this space and the people that visit and work here we have created this code of conduct.

Discrimination or aggression based on gender identity and expression, sexuality, race, religion, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or any other unique characteristic will not be tolerated. The expectation is that everyone associated with Killer Sprocket will always do their best to treat one another with respect and dignity. This responsibility extends to our staff, customers, contractors, and suppliers; whether attending the brewery or at offsite events. If you see something that is not right, please say something. Speak with us at the bar or email contact@killersprocket.com.au .

We will lead by example with professionalism and kindness. We are committed to growth and learning and recognize that feedback and complaints are an opportunity to do better. Serious breaches of our code of conduct by staff will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

We aim to increase diversity and inclusion through our hiring practices, social media and branding, events and sponsorships, and charitable donations. We hope to grow into a position where Killer Sprocket and the larger Australian Independent Brewing scene can not only offer safe and inclusive spaces but act as an example for other industries to follow.
